Welcome to the Whiskey Revolt! For whiskey drinkers we are in a very exciting time. Sales worldwide are through the roof and distilleries are truly trying to push the envelope of whiskey making. Also, throughout the U.S. whiskey are are popping up almost daily!
As a co owner of one of the first whiskey bars in Texas, I too am very excited. So much so that I started this page to discuss all things whiskey. If you had asked me 3 years ago if I thought we’d be where we are today I’d have to be honest and say yes and no. Yes, I full heartily believed that whiskey would jump in popularity. Hence why Steve and myself opened Reserve 101. Trust me, you don’t open a bar with 180 whiskeys by chance. With that said, I could have never imagined things like Knob Creek running out of product, their being over 50 micro-distillery in the U.S, or even having my own blog page. So i say long live the whiskey revolution! And enjoy the Whiskey Revolt.
